Website Design & Development
websites that end in an enquiry.
Build a website that explains the business quickly, works properly on a phone and gives visitors a clear next step.
The work, clearly scoped.
Website design, web development and responsive business websites. Pages, structure and the enquiry paths a visit is supposed to end in.
Who this is for —
and who it is not.
A business that already knows what it sells and needs the website to turn a visit into an enquiry — a clinic with a phone that rings from walk-ins, a contractor whose work is judged by photos, a B2B service where the owner answers every question by hand because nothing online answers them. It also suits someone replacing a site they are quietly embarrassed by, or starting clean with a brand already decided.
It is not the right first spend if you have not settled what the business actually offers, who buys it, or what a customer should do after reading the page. A website makes those things visible; it cannot invent them. Have your copy of any existing logo, your photographs, and one clear action you want the page to win — call, WhatsApp, enquiry form, or booking.
Four stages, and what you get at each one.
The page list and each page's job are agreed before design starts, which is what stops a site becoming a gallery.
What actually changes the cost.
Page count, what sits behind those pages, and whether content and photography already exist.
Often paired with.
A site rarely finishes the job alone. These are the layers clients usually add once the pages are up.
Before you start.
How long does a business website take?
A focused business website can often be completed in a few working weeks depending on scope, content, feedback and functionality.
Do you work from an existing brand?
Yes. We can build from existing brand assets or create the visual direction as part of the engagement.
Can you redesign an existing website?
Yes. A redesign can focus on information architecture, UX, visual design, performance, mobile usability or the full build.
Do you build on WordPress, Shopify or hand-coded sites?
Depending on how you will work after launch. If you need to edit pages and post yourself, a managed CMS is the honest answer. If the site is mostly fixed and speed matters, a built static site is lighter and cheaper to host. We recommend against the platform, not for it.
Will I be able to change the site myself?
That is a decision we make at the start, not after launch. Anything you intend to edit yourself gets built so a non-technical person can edit it, and we will say plainly which parts are not safe to touch.
What do you need from me to start?
The services list, prices or a stance on showing them, photographs you have the right to use, the number or form that should receive enquiries, and access to the domain. Missing items are fine — they just move the timeline.
