Terms & Conditions — the plain version
These cover the website itself. They are not a service agreement: work is scoped and agreed separately, per project.
READ THIS FIRST
This page describes how the website is intended to be used and reflects the website’s current practices. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not a substitute for a project-specific service agreement. Commercial terms, ownership, liability and dispute arrangements should be set out in a written agreement where applicable.
Who this site is for
Urban Techx is a digital agency. This website introduces the services, shows sample work and takes enquiries. You may read it, print parts of it for your own use and link to it.
Please do not scrape it wholesale, republish it as your own, or use it to feed a system that impersonates Urban Techx.
The site is information, not advice
The articles under Insights are general notes written by the studio. They are not legal, financial, tax or technical advice about your specific business, and acting on one without checking your own circumstances is your decision to make.
Prices, timelines and quotes
Nothing on this page is an offer. Anything you see about scope or timing is an illustration of how the studio works, not a commitment.
A binding quote only exists once it has been written for you and accepted. Budget selectors on the enquiry form are there so a reply can be useful on the first pass, not because a number entered there is agreed.
PROJECT COMMERCIAL TERMS
Payment stages, deposit amounts, what happens if a client goes quiet, cancellation fees and revision limits are project-specific commercial terms. They should be stated in the written proposal or service agreement for the relevant project before work begins.
What you agree to when you send an enquiry
You are telling us your own details, accurately, and you have the right to share what you include — business name, brief, links, files you mention. We use it to reply and to scope the work, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Please do not send confidential material you have no right to share, or credentials, in an initial enquiry.
Ownership of what is on this site
The design, code, written content and the Urban Techx name, mark and logo belong to Urban Techx.
Third-party material used here stays with its source and its own licence: the interface library behind the 3D backdrop, the two typefaces, the fonts served by Google, and the stock photography inside the sample category builds. Typefaces are used under the SIL Open Font License; the rendering library is MIT; the sample photographs come from Pexels under its free-use terms.
SAMPLE PORTFOLIO NOTICE
The sample builds under /website-portfolio/ use illustrative business names, contact details and stock photography to demonstrate possible designs. They are demos, not representations of real client work. Before presenting a demo as a real client project, verify that all names and details are appropriate and replace stock imagery with material you have rights to use.
Ownership of work we make for you
As a matter of practice, final files for a project pass to the client once that project is paid for, and we keep the right to show the work in a portfolio.
PROJECT OWNERSHIP TERMS
Ownership transfer, licensing of unfinished or rejected drafts, third-party assets included in a deliverable, and permission to identify a client publicly should be agreed in the written contract for each project. This general website statement does not replace those project-specific terms.
Third-party services and links
The site links out to WhatsApp, a booking page, Instagram and LinkedIn, and it loads fonts, a rendering library and some sample images from other providers. Once you leave this site you are dealing with them under their terms, not ours. We do not control and are not responsible for what they do with the information their own pages collect.
Availability
We try to keep the site up, but it is a static website on rented hosting. It can go down, and content can change or disappear without notice. Nothing here is a guaranteed service level.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Urban Techx is not liable for losses arising purely from reading or relying on this website. That sentence is deliberately narrow: it is not an attempt to exclude responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
LIABILITY LIMITATIONS
Liability and exclusions can depend on the applicable law, the services provided and the circumstances. Do not rely on this general wording as a negotiated liability clause; any limits intended for a client engagement should be reviewed and included in the relevant written agreement.
Governing law
GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
This website does not specify a governing jurisdiction, court or dispute process. Where needed, the applicable law and dispute arrangements should be determined from the business and engagement facts and stated in the relevant written agreement, with professional advice where appropriate.
Changes to these terms
We can change this page. The date at the top moves when we do. Continuing to use the site after a change means the new version applies.
How to reach us
Urban Techx — techxurban@gmail.com. The phone and WhatsApp numbers in the footer of every page are the routes to use. Questions about this page, or a request to correct something on it, go to the same address.
Before you sign anything
These terms describe the website. Commercial terms for a project belong in the proposal we send you, where both sides can see them.
